Over the past fourteen years, Pundole’s has hosted fifty-five auctions, achieving an average sell-through rate of 95.9%, with seventeen of those auctions being white-glove sales. Notably, the Fine Art Sale featuring works from the Glenbarra Art Museum and the Pundole Family Collection set several historic milestones, including several artist world records. Additionally, the auction house consistently sets numerous price records for renowned Indian artists, including Raja Ravi Varma, V.S. Gaitonde, S.H. Raza, Akbar Padamsee, F.N. Souza, Jagdish Swaminathan, Somnath Hore, N.S. Bendre and Nasreen Mohamedi.

Dadiba Pundole joined Pundole Art Gallery in 1980 and took over from his father Kali Pundole in 1990. Dadiba is highly regarded for his extensive knowledge of Indian Modernists such as V.S. Gaitonde, Akbar Padamsee, S.H. Raza, Ram Kumar, M.F. Husain, and F.N. Souza. Pundole Art Gallery began representing these artists in the 1960s, and Dadiba carries forward the legacy of his father. Dadiba also served as a consultant for Sotheby’s Modern Indian Art sales from 2005 to 2010.
Khorshed Pundole has over 35 years of experience in Modern and Contemporary Indian art, collaborating closely with numerous artists and collectors throughout her career.
Rob Dean started his career in 1998 at Christie’s in London, later moving on to become the head of Sotheby’s Indian and Southeast Asian department in New York. His expertise spans Modern and Classical Indian Art. Outside of auctions he continues to advise private clients and Institutions on collecting in the field. He is also currently on the Board of Directors for Asian Art in London which promotes London as a centre of excellence for the Arts of Asia.
Mallika Sagar, a specialist in Modern and Contemporary Indian art, also serves as Pundole’s auctioneer. She began her career at Christie’s, where she conducted the first sale of Modern Indian Art in New York in 2000, becoming Christie’s first Indian woman auctioneer. In addition to consistently helping fund-raise through various auctions conducted for numerous NGOs, Mallika also takes various sports league Player Auctions in India, including the Pro Kabaddi League, cricket’s Indian Premier League and Women’s Premier League, and most recently the Rugby Premier League.
